Phaco Training In India

For last couple of decades, JLR Eye Hospital has been training ophthalmologists in phaco surgery under the guidance of experienced senior consultants. The phaco training in India gives them a chance to first observe procedures closely and then gradually move to supervised hands-on microsurgery.

Phaco Fellowship India helps surgeons improve their confidence, technique, and overall surgical understanding in a real clinical environment. Patient safety and quality care remain the top priority throughout the program. We make sure that every visiting surgeon works in close coordination with our consultants and receives regular guidance during the training period.

During the phaco fellowship in India at JLR Eye Hospital, participants gain experience with different phaco systems, a range of foldable intraocular lenses, live surgical cases. The training at JLR Eye Hospital also covers essential pre-operative and post-operative protocols that are important for successful cataract surgery outcomes.

We have the state-of-art equipment installed at our Institution and with a very competent & experienced team of surgeons, we perform more than 12,000 SIC’s surgeries and in excess of 3000 phaco surgeries every year. The state-of-art equipment include Zeiss Microscope, Bausch & Lomb, Stellaris Phaco machines, Field Analyzer, B-scan, OCT, Yag Laser, Green Laser and Fundus camera etc.
